Direction=NORTH. Choonbi Position


Direcion=WEST. Movement 1
  • turn 90° left(CounterClockWise), moving left foot into a left walking stance
  • left arm low block

Direction=WEST. Movement 2
  • step forward with right foot into a right walking stance
  • right hand middle punch

Direction=EAST. Movement 3
  • step backward with right foot and turn 180° right(ClockWise), moving right foot into a right walking stance
  • right arm low block

Direction=EAST. Movement 4
  • step forward with left foot into a left walking stance
  • left hand middle punch

Direction=NORTH. Movement 5
  • turn 90° left(CCW), moving left foot into a left forward stance
  • left arm low block

Direction=NORTH. Movement 6
  • right hand middle punch (stay in same stance as last position--left forward. This is a Reverse punch--punch with arm that is opposite front leg)

Direction=EAST. Movement 7
  • from last stance, bring rear leg (right leg) together with front leg, then move it out to right side, and TURN 90 degrees to right(clockwise) into right walking stance
  • left arm out-to-in middle block

Direction=EAST. Movement 8
  • step forward with left foot into a left walking stance
  • right hand middle punch

Direction=WEST. Movement 9
  • step backward with left foot and turn 180° left(CCW), moving left foot into a left walking stance
  • right arm out-to-in middle block

Direction=WEST. Movement 10
  • step forward with right foot into a right walking stance
  • left hand middle punch

Direction=NORTH. Movement 11
  • turn 90° right(CW), moving right foot into a right forward stance
  • right arm low block

Direction=NORTH. Movement 12
  • left hand middle punch

Direction=WEST. Movement 13
  • from last stance, bring rear leg (left leg) together with front leg, then move it out to left side, and TURN 90 degrees to left(CCW) into left walking stance
  • left arm high block

Direction=WEST. Movement 14-1
  • right leg front-snap kick
  • (always continue blocking during the kick when high block precedes a kick)

  • step down with right foot into right walking stance

Direction=EAST. Movement 15
  • step back with right foot and turn 180 degrees to right(CW), moving right foot into a right walking stance
  • right arm high block

Direction=EAST. Movement 16-1
  • left leg front-snap kick

Direction=SOUTH. Movement 17
  • turn 90° to right (CW), moving left foot into a left forward stance
  • left arm low block

Direction=SOUTH. Movement 18
  • step forward with right foot into a right forward stance

  • Ki-aup!

Direction=NORTH. Return to Choonbi Position

  • turn 180 degrees to left, pivoting on right foot, bringing left foot around into choonbi position, facing forward as in beginning.
