Direction=NORTH. Choonbi Position


Direcion=WEST. Movement 1
  • turn 90° left, moving left foot into a left back stance
  • double knife-hand middle block (left hand forward) (Sonnal Momtong Makki)

Direcion=WEST. Movement 2
  • step forward with right leg into a right forward stance
  • (left arm palm block--move palm to this position before executing next move, nearly simultaneously)
  • right hand middle spear-hand stike (palm vertical) with left hand supporting right arm. (Pyonsonkeut Seweo jjiruki)

Direction=EAST Movement 3
  • turn 180° right, moving right foot into a right back stance
  • double knife-hand middle block (right hand forward)

Direction=EAST Movement 4
  • step forward with left leg into a left forward stance
  • (right arm palm block)
  • left hand middle spear-hand stike (with right hand supporting left arm)

Direction=NORTH. Movement 5
  • turn 90° left, moving left foot into a left forward stance
  • left arm knife-hand high block, with simultaneous right hand out-to-in high knife-hand strike (palm-up) (Jaebipum Mokchigi/"neck cut")
