Direction=NORTH. Choonbi Position


Direcion=WEST.Movement 1

  • turn 90° left, moving left foot into a left forward stance
  • left arm low block


Direcion=WEST.Movement 2

  • pull the left foot back into a left (90 degree) stance (left foot pointing forward, right foot pointing 90 degrees to side)
  • left hand hammer fist (attack downward, from above head to top of opponent's shoulder, with bottom of hammer fist) (Mejumeok Naeryo chigi)


Direction=EASTMovement 3

  • pivot 180° right (on left foot), and move right foot into a right forward stance
  • right arm low block


Direction=EASTMovement 4

  • pull the right foot back into a right (90 degree) stance
  • right hand hammer fist


Direction=NORTH.Movement 5-1

  • turn body to left (face North), moving left foot into a left forward stance
  • left arm in-to-out middle block (momtong makki)

  • right arm out-to-in middle block (momtong anmakki--reverse block)

  • step forward with left foot into a left forward stance
  • left arm out-in elbow-strike, with left fist supported by right palm

Direction=NORTH.Return to Choonbi Position

  • turn 180 degrees to left (CCW), pivoting on right foot, bringing left foot into choonbi position, facing forward as in beginning.
